How do you survive the hectic holidays?

If you are like me, a spouse, parent and working a "full-time+" job the holidays can be pretty hectic, and if you are not careful you can find yourself becoming negative.

God has always blessed me with the ability to see things through His perspective. Not all the times mind you, but for the most part-I stay pretty upbeat and cheery!

How do you do it? People ask me that all the time. I had one person tell me once, "You're so positive it makes me sick! you get on my nerves." I really got em when I just smiled and said, "Thanks, I hope you have a great day!!!"

When you realize all that God has done for you and you try to dwell on it, then the negative things and the stuff you don't have seem to get smaller and smaller.

I am a Child of God, I have eternal life and a daily relationship with the Creator of the world. He has given me a beautiful wife, three fantastic children, a supportive and loving extended family, a nice roof over my head, food in our pantry, clothes to wear, and a job that doesn't really feel like a job! It is a ministry. I get to come in everyday and share with you what God is up to. Isn't that cool.

I know that you may be struggling right now......keep your head up. Think of one thing that God has blessed you with........got it? Good! Now think of another......(repeat until all those negative thoughts just fade away.)

See you on the radio and Merry Christmas!
