External vs. Internal

I read an interesting article on sales today and it got me thinking. I love this quote: "You can't necessarily control the external environment, but you can control the internal environment." The economy is what it is, it's how we react to it that makes the difference. This applies to a lot more than selling advertising. It applies to life. There's a lot happening in our world that we can do absolutely nothing about...but we can do something about how we react to it! God has provided us a book of instructions, that shows us how we should behave regardless of what the world does. Here's a verse to take with you today: Philippians 4:8,9 NLT says: "And now brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me - everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.? NOW THAT'S AN INTERNAL CHANGE WE CAN ALL MAKE TODAY! What do you think about that?
