Is it just me, or is this becoming the answer to every
question? Wow! Everything is disposable these
days. My parents had the same television for 20 years.
It was black and white and you had to get up to change the channel.
And when I got married, they gave it to me and we used it for a
little while til we could save the cash to go buy a new
one. We gave it to somebody and if I had to guess, it
is still working today. Now they tell me my LCD flat
screen will burn out in 2 or 3 years and I can just throw it away
and go buy a new one? And they're only $1500 bucks? Excuse
me?
Either way, disposable stuff is one thing but disposable people is
another. Think about the folks in your cirlce of
influence. Is there someone that may have made some poor decisions
in their life that have subsequently been "thrown away" by their
family or worse...their church? If you know one of
these "disposable" people...reach out to them today and let them
know that God thinks they're still worth something!
