we often times get those "favorite" songs we discover out of the blue, or at least i do. usually it's really random too! maybe we're listening to the radio and one comes on we've heard a million time, but this time, it speaks to us differently than it did before. maybe you're surfing the internet and a friend posts a YouTube video of a song that transfixes you for a bit.
whatever it is, there's nothing like discovering new music in my opinion. the band below is my current favorite for the moment. it's a nice reminder to calm ourselves and recollect, and to recognize that we're not in control, God is. they used to be called Something Like Silas, but now go by Future of Forestry (unusual name isn't it?). love their relaxing music, and this video of them in the studio rehearsing for their tour is pretty chill.
