a friend of mine sent me this video last week via
Facebook. it really got me thinking about "thinking about" God
(sounds redundant i know, but bare with me). i'll admit i don't
think i've got God figured out, but i will sometimes fess up to
maybe acting like i know more about him than i really do.
how infinite is our God! why do i confine him to
the image of an old white man with a super long beard
sitting in the clouds looking down on us? sure, God made us in his
likeness, but i believe that to be more directed to our souls, not
necessarily the mud and clay God used to form the human being.
God is love, and God is holy. he loves us more than anything, and
wants us to spend time with him and in return will spend time with
us. how beautifully simple is that?
