I used to love trading Baseball Cards as a child. I
can remember four or five of "us boys" hoping on our bikes and
riding to the local drugstore or convenience store to buy our .25
packs of baseball cards. We would actually eat the
hard stick of gum and then sit down and look who we
had. Of course the goal was to get the entire set of
that year's cards. (I never was successful in doing
that.) I can remember the excitement of finding one of
the all-star cards, or my favorite-Pete Rose.
We would sort our cards by teams. And you would always
keep your "doubles" together in case a trade became possible.
This morning on the show I played the "Trading Game."
It was all for fun and no items really changed hands.
I started with my aluminum J103 water bottle and ended up with a
complete set of United States Refrigerator Magnets.
Along the way I traded an airconditioner and a basektball
goal. It was a lot of fun.
What have you ever traded? As a child? As
an adult?
