Chilean Miners

As I have watched each of the Chilean Miners being miraculously rescued from the mine after 69 days of being trapped-I have been reminded of how God rescued me from the abyss and saved me for eternity. Jesus paid the debt-he stepped into the "rescue capsule" and descended into our earth to give me salvation. He did all the work-He paid the ultimate price-all I had to do was step into the capsule-and trust Him.

Each of those Chilean miners had to do the same-they couldn't be rescued unless they stepped into the capsule. They couldn't trust in anything else-they couldn't carry any tools or anything with them. All we have to do is trust in Jesus-pray and ask Him to come and take control of our lives.
