I Spoke too soon

Yesterday I blogged at how all lives had been spared through the first round of storms. I spoke too soon.

Last night, I sat on the porch and watched the "killer storm" go by our neighborhood and strike downtown Ringgold. My neighborhood sits on a higher elevation than downtown Ringgold.

An hour before the tornado hit the pizza hut, I was sitting in the drive thru picking up some dinner for Trevor. To see the pictures this morning of how bad it and everything around it was damaged-makes me really count my blessings. God protected me and my family.

In the days, weeks, months to come we need to do all we can to support, care and be the hands and feet of Christ.
