Great Time at Dollywood

One of the perks of working on J103 and doing remotes is I get to enjoy the Dollywood and Splash Country tickets that so many people are trying to win.

This past week we were blessed to be able to do that. I was reminded of why people really want to win those so bad.

Very seldom do Amy and I get to get away with all three of our kids for any period of time. We had a great time reconnecting and making memories.

It almost brought a tear to my eye when, walking with my daughter Lauren, I mentioned that it wouldn't be long before our family won't be just the five of us. In the next 10 years we will probably have son and daughter-in-laws and quite possibly grandkids joining us on these trips.

Time does fly! I can remember taking my three little ones to hotel pools and watching them splash around in the kiddie pools. Now they are young adults and making their own decisions.

One thing I don't miss however!.........changing swim diapers!!!!
