My Opinion on the Casey Anthony Verdict?

Most of the United States and many places in the world are discussing the not guilty verdict of the Casey Anthony verdict. Most people think she did kill her 2 year old daughter Callie and got away with it.

Becasue of the laws of our land, (which protect us), she may have gotten away with murder, but a jury of her peers found her not-guilty. To find someone guilty you have to be able to prove beyond a "reasonable doubt" that they have committed a crime. That was not able to be done therefore she is can not be held accountable here on earth for those accusations. If she did get away with it then one day she will stand before God and answer those charges.

As I read God's Word, it is not my role to judge her. She was found "not guilty" by our courts, therefore I must treat her that way. To see the people outside the courtroom with signs that say "Baby Killer" and hurling threats to her, her family and the jurors to me is so sad.

I have to stop and think......As a follower of Christ how would God want me to treat her? Substitute her for the woman who was caught in adultry that was brought to Jesus-don't the rocks still hit the ground?

What should our action be? Prayer and forgiveness.....The Lord knows I need it regularly!
