Yesterday afternoon for the first time. I got to watch Trevor
play in a college soccer game. His Bryan Lions were
playing the Bulldogs of TN Wesleyan. Near the end of
the first half Trevor was dribbling the ball down field near the
goal when he got fouled and went crashing down. He was
ok, but it was enough of a foul to be called by the
official. What that means is that since Trevor was
fouled in the box, his team got to take a penalty shot......one
person kicks the ball at the goal with no one defending except the
goal keeper. One of Trevor's teammates scored tying up
the game to what would be the final score 1-1.
This morning sort of the same thing happened on the
air. I received a message from one of our listeners
and partners who said they could not give during this Friendraiser
and felt guilty about it. We shared their story
(annyomously of course) on the air and many people gave on her
behalf.
We all know people who are struggling financially.
Will you step up to the plate and give on their
behalf? You can by going to J103.com and clicking the
