It just comes natural to stop this time of year and collect your thoughts on what you are thankful for.
Salvation, my wife-Amy, my three kids-Lauren, Trevor and Chipper, my ministry here at J103, all of the luxuries God provides-a nice house, vehicles to drive, clothes to wear, food to eat, great friends and coworkers, my church family, our pets, (yes-I am thankful for our menagire of animals-just don't tell my wife!), good health, great memories of fun times, a great Christian heritage that was left for me and I am trying to pass on to my kids....I could go on for ever.
Tomorrow before you dive into the turkey and dressing, and before you head out to face the Black Friday/Thursday sales-stop and be thankful. Write a list-I think you will be surprised at how much you really do have to be thankful and once you begin to be thankful-you will often forget what you don't have.
Happy Thanks-giving!
