Would you believe that I entered the swinging world of radio at the
age of two?
My mom always tells the story on how I wandered away from home in
Lompoc California and ended up at the radio station about a mile
down the road. When she finally found me I was happliy on top of
the radio console telling the disc jockey what record should be
played next.
Since then I always pursued being a disc jockey, which actually was
a family thing since my mom was a DJ in Morocco and my next door
neighbor and CCD sponsor was a disc jockey at the local
station.
When most guys were going on dates in high school I and my wacky
band of friends would sit out on the driveway and listen to the
radio to hear the most distant stations. Being on the coast of
California is was a really big deal to hear Ohio stations.
More radio cornicopia in my next rambling!
