I saw a great sign at an area church during Easter. “THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE SADDEST DAY EVER AND THE HAPPIEST WAS ONLY 3 DAYS.†Think about that. One day Jesus dies on the cross and all seems hopeless and helpless. But 3 days later He arose from the grave victorious over death and hell!
Sometimes our lives are a lot like this. Are you in the midst of the storm right now? Is it one of those “sad†days? The devil wants you to worry worry worry. He wants you to think of the worst possible outcome. But here’s the good news: Things usually do not turn out nearly as bad as we are able to imagine they will. And by God’s grace, the storm usually passes sooner that we expect.
So be encouraged today! Your “3 days†will be over sooner that you think!
