The Lookouts "Sign Boy"

the Chattanooga Lookouts kick off their season this week and i'm pretty excited about making it back out to ATT Field sometime this year. you know what hasn't got me excited? the lackluster verbage from the Lookouts "Sign Boy" that puts up the digital letters on their black and red board. the sign faces HWY 27 and every day on my way back from work i would love to see the witty and silly things he would post, but not this year. they seem much more focused on so called 'professionalism' or something and only talk about season tickets and where the Lookouts are playing. what happened to the poems? where did the funny entendre's go? did sign boy get fired? maybe the fact the Lookouts are for sale had something to do with it, but i miss the funny writings of Sign Boy on my way home from work. made the team really seem a part of the community and not just another ball club.
