Today we were delivering backpacks for the Nehemiah Project at one of the area elementary schools.
As I walked into one of the rooms with my big bag full of backpacks, the teacher had me count them out and put them to the side so she could give them out at the end of the day.
While I was counting them out I felt two small arms try to wrap around me from behind and gave me a big hug.
I turned around and this little Hispanic kindergardener with the cutest eyes looked up at me and said "thank you."
I wish you could have been there-he would have given you a hug too. You deserve it! Thanks for donating the crayons, paper and money to purchase 3,600 backpacks and the additional school supplies. You are making a huge difference in kids lives-especially the little hugger!
