"A breath of fresh air"

Hi everyone! Haylee here, I am a senior Communication major at Shorter University in Rome GA. I am a brand new intern here at J103 and I must say, I am thankful that God has placed me at this amazing station for the summer. This internship could not have come at a better time in my life. You see, everyone has academic years that are tougher than others; well for me this past semester was the most challenging for sure from the difficult workload to my spiritual life. I was faced with hard decisions that had to be made fast. I knew I wanted to intern at a non-profit somewhere and maybe do a special event or events but that’s all I really knew. I've worked places before where all I did was answer the phones and file paperwork but I’m the type of person who is always on the go and has to be doing something. I am going on day four of my internship at J103 and I can tell you one thing, this atmosphere is the furthest thing from dull and I absolutely love it! On my very first day I was able to sit in on the teams "more meeting Mondays" or their worship staff meeting. For the first hour of my day we sat around the conference table as a "family" and worshiped the Lord, it was incredible! I knew then I was in the perfect internship! I can't wait to see what The Lord has in store for me this summer as He unfolds His great plan and this breath of fresh air!
