Monday afternoon, after brodcasting from the front gate of Dollywood, our contact person (who is super-duper) gave me a $50 gift certificate for our family to get something to eat in the park.
After packing up the radio equipment, I met my family at the front gate and we went and rode a few of the rides. It was my first ride on The Wild Eagle! Awesome!!!!!
After we rode the roller coasters-we tried to find an open restaurant to no avail-they had all closed down (the park closed at 7pm).
We ended up in the big Candy Shop where we literally had to buy $50 in candy.......Talk about an experience.....fudge, prailenes, english toffee, taffey, and jelly bellys is what we came away with.
Talked about a sugar rush on the ride home!
