Answered Prayer.....again!

You may have heard me talking about Chipper's car accident in my Durango. It is an older vehicle that has been involved in an accident before, and as such we only had liability insurance on it.

After the accident I just knew that it wasn't going to be worth fixing and we were going to be looking at a new car payment.

So what? You probably have a car payment, we have had them all of our marriage......that's the point. We were finally (as of March) without a car payment-and it felt good.

Our plan was to drive the Durango and our Yukon till they died, hopefully in a year or two and be able to save up enough to at least pay for half of a new to us vehicle.

Here's where God comes in.....I was almosts sick of the thought of our financial goal being dashed....But God.....had another plan.....I got a call from the Auto Repair Shop saying that the damage wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Basically it can all be fixed for around $1,000.

Ouch! you may say, but that keeps us on task and on target with the financial goal!
