Lost my legs not my chain

While at Winshape on a staff retreat, I went trail riding with our program director Justin Wade and one of our account executives Scott Tatum (Both could be considered trail bike studs!)

It has been a long time since I mounted up and hit the trails on my bike. Needless to say, it was quite the task keeping up with those two. There were times when I found myself walking my bike up hills instead of gritting through it.

On the way back down the mountain, Justin was riding behind me (for the first time the entire ride), and he said, "Ted do you know what would help you?" I responded, "Lose 50 pounds?" He laughed and said, "No, just raise your seat a little."

When we got back to the retreat center, I did that and took a few spins around the parking lot. By raising the seat it allowed my legs to get more power with every pedal.

That little adjustment made a huge differentce in the way I could ride.

In our life-God reminds us through the Holy Spirit of little adjustments we can make that will allow us to live with more power for Him!
