Day # 2 of an international Mission Trip

I wanted to share with you the post I just left to all of our team members families back home in the states.

God is good!

Ted: What a great day today! Our Team worked our tails off. Everyone is tired....but not too tired to jump in the pool as we have just finished our evening devotions. We started the day off with a great devotion from Mitzi Callahan (Joe Callahan blessed us yesterday morning with his devotion). Our first day of VBS is in the books and everyone did a tremendous job! After VBS and a quick PB&J sandwich we went and mixed concrete by hand and poured the floor for a local hearing impaired guy who has been a part of the ACE ministry for years. While we were mixing and passing the concrete about a 1/8th of a mile by buckets God provided an overcast sky and an occasional breeze. Tomorrow after VBS we swap places with our friends from RBC and we go to the infirmary and spend some quality time with those dear seniors. It is a different type of labor for sure. Emotional labor! But so rewarding. Thanks for praying! We can feel it.
