A Change in Tradition can be good

Our Thanksgiving this year was definitely different.

First: This was the first holiday without my father-in-law. He celebrated an ultimate Thanksgiving in Heaven this year for the first time. We definitely felt his abscence but the fellowship of those he left behind was sweet!

Second: My sister-in-law invited us to join them at their new home near Atlanta. We picked up the turkey from our student ministry fundraiser, picked up my Mother-in-Law and headed south.

It was a nice changge of pace! We had to do no cooking.....and I had no dishes to wash!!!!!!!!

Even though things were different-one thing remanined unchanged......the love God has for us all year and the ability to remember those things we are most thankful for.

A change in tradition can be good!
