Local third grader may be a nationally known artist
You probably notice them every day.......You log onto Google to look up that latest recipe or to help your kids with their homework and there it is......art! Everyday Google has a different piece of art helping to add class to their site.
Ever wonder where that art comes from? Ask Dayton TN third-grader Aiden McRorie and she will tell you that it just may come from her one day real soon.
Aiden has been named a Tennessee finalist in the national Doodle 4 Google competition. She has drawn a picture of a pet rescue with the google logo in the window.
In March she will find out if she is one of the final four national finalists and if so will receive a $5,000 college scholarship and a trip to Google headquarters in California. If she is the national winner she will receive a $30,000 college scholarship and a $5,000 education grant for her school.
You and I can vote for Aiden and help her win until Feb 22. www.google.com/doodle4google/vote.html
Go Aiden! You've got my vote!
