Morning Show with Ted Hero of the Week

I'm not sure why, but recently I have been noticing a lot of "heros" People who have made selfless sacrifices for the better good of those they love and for complete strangers.

This week we began allowing you to call in, send in, post about the heros in your life. Each week we are going to select one hero from all those who are nominated through the week to win the title of "Hero of the Week"

This first week the "Hero of the Week" goes to Captain Jeff Kuss. Captain Kuss was one of the Navy's elite pilots on the Blue Angel Team. Last week Captain Kuss was training near Murfreesboro in preparation for an air show, when suddenly his plane had complete engine failure. Captain Kuss could have ejected to safety, however if he had his plane could have crashed into some nearby apartment buildings which would have caused a lot of innocent deaths. Instead he heroically took his plane manually straight into the ground and lost his life with out anyone else getting injured or killed. Captain Kuss leaves behind a wife and two small kids.

For this act of bravery we award Captain Kuss is awarded the first ever "Morning Show with Ted Hero of the week"
