It is with a heavy heart that we nominate Tennessee Bureau of Investigation special agent De'Greaun Frazier. 35 year old agent Frazier was working an undercover drug investigation in West Tennessee when he met a person for a controlled buy in a car in Jackson. The person he was meeting with pulled out a firearm in an apparent robbery attempt and fired at least once killing Frazier.
He is survived by his wife and a child. He is the first TBI officer to be killed in the line of duty.
Today, let's honor this real hero by praying for his family, and those he worked with in the TBI.
