Don't waste those potato and sweet potato peels-Here's a Healthy Snack

To help us out with our goal of "Being the Best You you can be in 2017" here is a great recipe I found from "Kitchen Hacks" that not only cuts down on kitchen food waste but is a delicious healthy snack option.

Crispy Peels

Preheat your oven to 400. Coat a large, rimmed baking sheet with cooking spray (I like the Olive oil version). Toss the peels from 4 russet potatoes and 3 sweet potatoes with 2 Tbsp olive oil, 1 tsp chili powder (or whatever your favorite seasoning is), salt and pepper. Spread in an even layer on baking sheet. Roast 15 to 18 minutes stirring halfway through, until they are brown and crispy. You can eat as is, or top off with cheese, a little sour cream, hot sauce and green onion if that sounds good to you! Beats the chips!!!!!!!
