How cool is this?!

As the leaves are officially off of the trees, the weather is beginning to stay chilly, and Santa Claus is in town, at least at Hamilton Place Mall, it is Christmas time, again!

The Holiday gift wrap contest is underway!

Every year there is a holiday wrapping paper design contest that is for any child grades 1-5 to be a part of! If you have a child that is interested in being a part of this contest, it is not to late to submit your art!

The deadline is on Wednesday, November 22, by 5 p.m.

The grand prize winner will receive a cash price of $25 plus an arts package and goody bag from co- sponsors Arts-Build, Chattanooga's Kids on the Block and Creative Discovery Museum.

To enter her is the formatting rules:

Use an 8.5 x 11 piece of unlined paper. Entry should include the child's name, age, address, telephone number, grade, school, and teacher's name all printed on the back.

You can mail or hand- deliver the art work to 400 E. 11th St., Chattanooga, TN 37403. Just label it Wrapping Paper Contest, Chattanooga, Times Free Press.

A few helpful hints to keep in mind as you design your own wrapping paper:

Be original

Use bright colors

Fill the entire page

Choose paint, crayon, chalk, markers or pens, construction paper or other creative materials

Lastly, if your artwork is chosen it will be available in wrapping paper form, at the Kids on the Block wrapping paper station from December 5 until Christmas Eve.
