Well, as Christmas is quickly approaching, there is a lot of events going on!

Although, it is finally beginning to feel like Christmas outside, there is fun stuff inside to enjoy! No need to stand out in the cold!

First up, The Scenic City Choo-Choo Chorus and the Choo Choo Chorus- Chattanooga's female and male barber shop- harmony ensembles are partnering to present "Christmas in Harmony: An A Capella Extravaganza" on Saturday, December 16, at 4 p.m. at Girl's Preparatory School (GPS). at 205 Island Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37405. Next up, a clown is coming to Chattanooga! Puddles, a 6ft. 8 in. clown in sad whiteface who makes a Gomer Pyle-to- Jim Nabors transformation when he begins to sing. Puddles will be at the Walker Theatre, Memorial Auditorium, 399 McCallie Ave., 8 p.m., Saturday, December 16. Admission is $29.50 and $39.50 plus fees. For more information you can call 423-757-5580. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS! This weekend is the last weekend of the Chattanooga Market for 2017. The final two market days are Saturday and Sunday, December 16-17, so do not miss it!

The Chattanooga Symphony and Opera (CSO) will present its annual holiday concert "Home for the Holidays," on Saturday evening, December 16 and Sunday afternoon, December 17, in the Tivoli Theatre, 709 Broad Street. Lastly, there are three different opportunities for you and your family to go see "The Nutcracker." The first one is "Ballet Tennessee." They will be performing at 2 and 7:30 on Saturday, December 16 and at 2 pm on Sunday, December 17. They will perform at UTC'S Fine Arts Center, 752 Vine Street. Admission is $19 and $17 plus fees. The second Nutcracker Performance is the "Nooga Nutcracker," This is at 7 pm, Friday, December 15; 2 pm and 7pm on Saturday,, December 16; and 2 pm on Sunday, December 17 a the Chattanooga Dance Theatre, 5151 Austin Road. Admission is $12.

Lastly, The Moscow Ballet's 25th Anniversary tour is celebrating with the "Great Russian Nutcracker." This will be at the Tivoli Theatre, 709 Broad St., at 3 pm and 7pm, Wednesday, December 20. Admission is anywhere from $30-$104 plus fees. For more information you can call 423-757-5580.
