This weekend there is so much going on and you will not want to miss it!

First Things First is hosting a new fun activity coming to the Highland Park Commons, 2000 Union Avenue, one block off Bailey Avenue. This event is "Kickin' it with Dad," This event is Saturday, March 10. How fun does that sound! Let you children go kick around the ball with their dad! Tickets are $20 for one adult and one child, and then %10 for any additional children. For more information you can call 423-267-5383.

How cool is this! The UTC Fine Arts building is hosting the Regional Spelling Bee! Saturday, March 10th, the top spellers will be spelling away! Who will be the top spelling bee? Are you ready for the Spring weather so that you can fly a kite? Why not go fly your kite at the Tennessee Riverpark? There is a festival on Sunday, March 11, from 9a.m. to 5 p.m. (4301 Amnicola Hwy). If you want to go, here is what you need to know! Admission is $20 per vehicle with up to 8 passengers. No vehicle larger than a 15 passenger van is allowed. No cooking is allowed, however you can bring a picnic lunch! No alcohol, tobacco, or cooking equipment allowed. Guests can bring lawn chairs, hats, picnic mats, sunscreen, sunglasses, but are expected to pick up after themselves when they decide to leave. Last, but not least, are you ready for St. Patrick's Day? Well you are not going to want to miss this! You can get your green on at Shamrock City! There will be St. Patrick's Day activities going on March 10-11 and 17-18, from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Admission is $22.95 for adults and children ages 3-12 are $12.95. There will be everything from green fudge to a green waterfall at Lover's Leap! Don't forget to wear green!
