As June is finally here, there is so much for the family to do in our community!
Here is just a some the fun that you will want to be a part of.
For starters, this weekend the Chattanooga Market is hosting the EPB Strawberry Festival Sunday, June 3 with lots of fun activities planned, including musician at 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.. It should be berry fun. For more information call 423-648-2496.
Next up is Mayberry... well kind of. This weekend at the Downtown Square of Valley Head Alabama, they are celebrating the Andy Griffith Show and just like Mayberry, Valley Head is a small town, therefore you may even see Barney Fife, Floyd, the barber, and Otis walking around, Saturday, June 2, from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Central time. Summerime on the Square is another fun festival happening this weekend. it is in Cambridge Square, 9453 Bradmore Lane, Ooltewah, TN, from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday, June 2, with free admission. For more information you can visit www.touchtheskyevents.com.
Buzzzz... I I hear the Honeybee's, that is right the Honey Bee festival is going on in Lafayette, GA from 9 a.m.- 11 p.m., Saturday, June 2. Admission is free. For more information visit mycityoflafayettega.org.

Saturday, June 2, at the Chickamauga Battlefield, will be offering tours along with hosting a panel on Civil War history. For more information, call 706-866-9241.
Last but not least, for most people, Summer seems to be in full swing and with that, why go to the beach when you can simply go over to Lake Chickamauga and ride the waves? Saturday morning, June 2, anyone can enter the competition and they will ride waves created by a Heyday WT-Surf boat.This contest is to promote and show off the sport of Surfing, right here in our backyard.
