The Month of November reminds everyone that we have so much to be thankful for. I have taken up the challenge of posting one thing every day on my social media feeds that I am thankful for. I've realized that the more time you spend thanking God for all He has blessed you with, the less time you have to complain about what you don't have.
Today's J103 AM Devo from Craig Groeschell's Devotional Daily Power, it reminds us of the true saying that "Where God provides He Guides." Craig also points out that even when God "withholds" He still guides. Its the balance to God giving us what we want vs what we need. I'd much rather God meet my needs than fulfill my wants.
This month so far I am thankful for: My relationship with Jesus, my wife, the churches I have served, my daughter Lauren, My sons, Trevor and Chipper, my daughter-in-law Olivia, my son-in-law Zach, my two married kids in-laws, my nieces and nephews, my parents, my brothers, my team here at J103, and today my neighbors.
I encourage you to pick up the challenge and focus on at least one thing every day this month that you are thankful for. Just see if you complain less.
