Butterfly Festival
The 8th Annual Butterfly Festival will be held on Saturday, October 4th (10 am - 3 pm) at Willow Tree Farms. This is a FREE community wide fundraising event for the Katie Beth Carter Memorial scholarship fund and Live & Love Ministries (registered 501c3), co-founded by Jason & Amy Carter in the aftermath of Katie's tragic death in 2016. This event includes live entertainment, many local vendors, inflatables, games, arts/crafts for kids, a petting zoo, art auction, and a live butterfly release. There will also be a silent art auction online leading up to the festival with pieces offered by several local artists, amateur and professional. There will be one custom art piece auctioned off live at the event and we will release 100 live butterflies at 2:45 pm that day in honor and memory of loved ones who have passed.
