Winter Jam Coming Back to Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, TN-- The Winter Jam Tour Spectacular will return to Chattanooga as the event enters its 20th year. According to producer, DMI Concerts, Winter Jam will visit here on Sunday, March 15th, 2015 at the UTC McKenzie Arena.

The 2015 Winter Jam artists line-up will be announced October 27th at jamtour.com/party beginning at 8:00 p.m. EST. Everyone is invited to register to watch online- a great time to invite some friends over and make a house party out of it!

Conceived and created in 1995 as "January Jam" by CCM group Newsong and produced and promoted by promotions companies, Premier Productions in Greenville and DMI Concerts in Chattanooga, TN, Winter Jam has run annually since all over the United States of America. From the beginning, Winter Jam was based on the idea of removing cost barriers, so more people could attend, be encouraged by the music, and hear the gospel. Tickets are not required for the tour, as a $10 general admission is collected at the door of each arena. Twenty years later, those are still the foundations of Winter Jam.

When you attend a Winter Jam event, you can count on ministry being the main focus. Eddie Carswell, founder of Newsong and Winter Jam said “God has continued to bless Winter Jam, allowing the event to a part of what He is doing and will do in Chattanooga and 60 other cities in 2015 through the music of ten leading artists in the industry. “

Over the past two decades, The Winter Jam Tour Spectacular has featured many of the top names in Christian music, including TobyMac, Third Day, Newsboys, Steven Curtis Chapman, Mandisa, MercyMe and others. The tour has outpaced any other tour's attendance for the past four years (according to Pollstar, 1st Quarter).
