The Windows are Open!

As I am sitting here this morning waiting on the rest of my family to get ready for church, (why am I always the first one ready?), updating my blog, the windows of our kitchen/dining room are open and there is a nice cool breeze blowing through on a beautiful sunny day.

I can remember just a few short weeks ago, the heavy rains and flooding that was occuring all around us. Yesterday I was in Carollton GA at the Georgia State Cross Country Championship-wearing shorts!

God is so good. He knows when we need rain. He knows when we need sunshine. For a summer boy, watching the leaves fall off the trees, the days getting much shorter, and the cold weather can be depressing. Days like these make it easier to bear!

Remember, when you get a bad case of the "blahs", that God is just as near today as he is on the really "good" days.

All in favor of skipping winter and jumping right to spring, (after Christmas of course) give me a shout out!

Now if I could just figure out how to get rid of the world's ladybug population in my kitchen!
