Hope and Change

Boy! Those words have seen a lot of action in the last year. President Obama used them as his platform to get elected. Now Sarah Palin is using his words against him. Whichever side of that fence you fall on....let's look at real Hope and Change. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 1:1 (CEV) "From Paul, God our Savior and Christ Jesus commanded me to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, who gives us hope."Mathew Chapter 3 and verse 2 (in the Amplified Bible) says, "Repent (think differently; change your mind, regretting your sins and changing your conduct), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." So there is such a thing as Hope and Change. It's found in God's Word! Our Hope is in Jesus and our Change comes from following Him and being more like Him. Under those circumstances, we can all be for Hope and Change. God's way that is.
