Love Well

just watched the Hurt Locker with Becca last night. there comes a point in the movie after a soldier gets injured where one of the members of Bravo Team tells his team leader he's got not one that loves him except for his family. he feels worthless, used and insignificant. this type of thing is not uncommon in people. our lives can sometime become either so mundane or so trying that we question our purpose...maybe even why we were born?

but don't you know we're beautifully and wonderfully made in God's image? and by wonderfully, i mean awe-inspiring! we are an amazing collection of cells so masterfully crafted together by the King of the Universe with billions of inter-dependent pieces and parts all working together harmoniously! it truly is awe-inspiring!

you see though, we as Christians, or the body of Christ, together must work just like that. dependent on each other. working together harmoniously...

loving one another!

Jesus summed up the entire code of Christian living with love. "love God, love others". it is with this love that value is recognized! seriously think about some times you've felt love from another person. did God not allow a sneak peak of completeness into your life during those moments, or when you're with that person? our love for one another can, and should, change lives! every single day we should be asking ourselves how we are loving others. buying a meal, sparing some change, loaning a shoulder to cry on or sharing the ultimate love, God's love, with someone. whatever you do, love well.
