I was just taught a lesson by a 2 year old video clip

This morning in gathering the celebrity birthday announcements to share during they 9:00 hour (like I always do), I learned that Brittains Got Talent star from 2009 Susan Boyle is celebrating her birthday today. I watched the clip of when she first took the stage. Everyone, (me included), took one look at her and already we had a preconceived notion of who she was, a dumpy, nobody with bushy eyebrows. There was no way she was going to impress the judges, yet alone be any kind of a good singer. The audience chuckled, the judges rolled their eyes......until.......she began to sing. The audience errupted with applause, the judges were stunned and moved with emotion. I have to admit, I went through the same thing watching the video. I got goose bumps, and then I was convicted. God spoke to me and said, "Ted, how often do you judge like that? How many times do you look at others and allow preconceived thoughts and opinions to form before you give them a chance?"

I need to be careful! "Father forgive me."

Check out the video with this in mind and see if it doesn't move you too.
