A wise pastor once gave me this great definition of grace. Imagine
your purposely speeding down I-75 in Chattanooga at 100 mph and the
cops pull you over... YOU'RE BUSTED and you deserve it!!! As the
cop starts writing the ticket for 35 over, you beg him not to write
you a ticket. He thinks about it and states OK, and walks off
without even a warning. That my friend is Mercy!
Now imagine the same situation and the cop walks off without a
warning, goes to his cruiser, and then walks back to your car and
presents you with a $100 bill. That my friend is Grace.
This is what Father God gives to you when you accept his son the
Lord Jesus Christ. All sins: past , present and future will be
remembered no more, on your way to heaven with no judgemen,t and
there will be no condemation ever again.
Good news, eh?
