Yesterday, Brett (our evening guy) and I were invited to come and help the Chattanooga Police Dept SWAT train.
We rotated between being victims and "bad guys," and actually got to use real weapons with "simunition" (simulated ammunition-think paint balls but in bullet form.)
It was really an exciting day, and we both left amazed at the skill of these brave men and women, not to mention the technical tactics and toys they have.
First scenario, I was a bad guy and I was the first person they encountered on entering the building. Needless to say, before I know it I was unarmed and in custody!
Those guys and gals are awesome.
