Paying for Excitement!

Last night my University of Louisville Cardinal Basketball Team won the National Championship for the 3rd time. It was an exciting run with lots of great stories along the way.

My son Trevor, a student at UofL (my alma mater), was able to get student tickets along with some of his friends and they got to see Saturdays and last nights games. They camped out at our house in between games.

The game against Michigan last night for the Championship really was an exciting game. My only regret is that it didn't tip off until 9:23pm. Why? Don't they know what that does to morning radio guys?

I managed to get to bed by 1am and back up at 4am. I made it to the studio by 5am and stayed awake for the entire morning show.

Our program director, Justin, came into the studio after the show and asked how I was doing. My response? "I am dragging tail, but I'm not complaining-it was all my fault!"

I could have gone to bed on time.........nah.....who am I kidding!

Tonight the Louisville Lady Cardinals are playing in the National Championship too. They will be playing powerhouse (UCONN).

Fortunately the game starts about an hour sooner.

Might be a good time to start drinking coffee! They don't call it March Madness for nothing.
