It is so good to be at home safe and sound. As a trip leader when you take students out of the country for an international mission trip there is a certain amount of stress that only youth pastors and trip leaders understand.
Mama's don't take lightly to leaving their precious little ones in a foreign country.
Once you get your group through the arriving countries immigration and customs area it is a big relief, and once you get all of your group members on the plane and the door is shut you can take a sigh of relief.
But I wouldn't trade the anxiety for a second. To see the students (one of which was my youngest son) sharing their faith through servant evangelism to "the least of these" it is so worth it!
Thanks for your prayers while we were on mission-but guess what? We are all "on mission" let's keep praying that God continues to use each of us on our "mission field" right here at home!
