I woke up this morning after sleeping in an East Ridge Hotel (so
I could for sure make it to the radio station for the morning
show-even if that meant walking for 5 minutes). The
snow was covering the ground and the roads. Thankfully
the temperatures didn't stay below freezing all night but the roads
were really slushy. That is what I was assuming as I
woke up at 4:30 and looked out the window.
I got up, showered, gathered up all my things, checked out of the
hotel, scrapped off my windshields and slowly headed out of the
parking lot. As I approached Ringgold Road a Snow
Plow/Salt Truck (aka a Blessing from God) drove by towards the
radio station.
Automatically I felt God's peace and presence. As I
drove down the freshly salted/plowed road I thanked God for his
blessings.
The snow was beautiful this morning-but the bright sunshine melting
it all is an even more beautiful sight for this radio announcer
who's been snowed in here at the station and hotel all
week!
