My daughter just made my day Sunday.
We were standing outside church after the morning service talking
to some of our friends and she was giving them the wedding update:
Photographer (Greg Beasley), Dress (at Monicas), Venue
(Mountain Cove Farms), DJ (I've got a friend! LOL) and then our
friend asked, "Who's going to officiate the ceremony."
My baby girl and my wife both looked at me and said
"Daddy/Ted"
I was hoping she would want me to. I had told Lauren
all along that I was cool with whatever she wanted me to do.
If she wanted me to "just be dad" that day and walk
her down the aisle and sit with Amy I was glad to do it, or if she
wanted me to do the ceremony I would be honored!
Her ceremony is going to be incredible!
