On the J103 Mission Trip last year, I experienced many things. One of my favorite things on the trip was seeing God’s sweet voice of hope, compassion, and love as we shared “care packages” and prayers with the homeless and prostitutes in the rain-soaked downtown streets of Panama City late one night. My role was just to carry the packages and stand back and pray with my eyes open (watching to make sure the team stayed safe). Ladies from the church actually prayed with the ladies. It was awe-inspiring to see the hardness on their faces melt away and tears begin to flow when they were reminded that they were not who everyone told them they were…..they were really beautiful children of God.
You can be part of making of difference in the lives of the people in Panama this year! The J103 Mission Team will head to Panama in October. To find out more about joining the team, click here, or email fatima@j103.com.
